Krupówki Street - 650m

The most famous promenade in Poland and the most representative street in Zakopane. It is located in the central part of the city. It is around 1000 m long. Closed to the traffic, full of boutiques, souvenir shops, stands with regional products, restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels. There are interesting tourist attractions worth visiting while walking along the promenade like: Sanctuary of the Holy Family, Tatra Museum and Municipal Art Gallery.

Białego Valley – 600m.

The Białego Valley stretches for 2.5 km, situated between Wielka Krokiew and Sarnia Skała. It is an easily accessible trail from the centre of Zakopane. It begins where the yellow hiking trail intersects with Droga Pod Reglami. It’s of a ravine shape , and Biały Potok stream flows through its bottom. It’s widely considered to be one of the most picturesque mountain valleys of the Western Tatras, especially during spring/summer.

Zakopane Thermal Baths/Termy Zakopiańskie – 1,3km.

The only Thermal Baths in the city with a complex of thermal water pools. It combines sports, recreation and entertainment, offering bathing in natural waters with healing properties. You can use sport pools, outdoor recreational pools, jacuzzi, sauna, slide zone, water playground for the youngest, salt cave, bowling alley and a gym. This is an ideal place to spend active free time during your holiday.

Ski Jumping Hill – Wielka Krokiew – 1,5km.

The largest ski jump hill called Wielka Krokiew is located on the slope of Krokiew Mountain between the Białego Valley and the Bystra Valley. It is a natural ski jump covered by forest, adapted for ski jumping in various weather conditions. It is the oldest, largest and the most famous facility of this type in Poland. International ski jumping competitions are held here, attracting crowds of tourists. Since 2008, a chairlift has been operating there, taking visitors to the top, where you can see a beautiful view of the city. It is also accessible by foot.

Gubałówka Hill – 1,7km.

The lower station of the funicular railway to Gubałówka is located at the bottom of Krupówki Street. To get there, you have to go through the regional market, which is full of stalls with delicacies and folk handicrafts. You can get to the top on foot - following the tourist trail or take the funicular. Gubałówka rises at 1120-1129 m above sea level, with a beautiful view of the city and the Tatra Mountains. It’s highly recommended to take the funicular ride, which runs all year round. There are many restaurants, cafes with terraces, souvenir stands and regional delicacies at the top. The youngest will be interested in the adventure park, the gravity funicular and the Land of Light (opened during winter season only).

Strążyska Valley - 2km.

Strążyska Valley is located in the Western Tatras. It is a relatively short and easily accessible trail from the center of Zakopane. You can access it at the end of Strążyska Street. Its crowning point is Polana Strążyska, from where you are only 15 minutes away from the Siklawica Waterfall. The valley leads through a picturesque forest, at the end you will see old shepherds' huts, a boulder called the Sphinx and a breathtaking view of Giewont. There is no shelter on Polana Strążyska, but in the season the Parzenica Cafeteria is open with a numerous benches waiting for tourists. From there you can access red trail which leads towards Giewont.
